Teresa Meade, associate professor of history and
director of Women's Studies, attended the eighth international Interdisciplinary Congress on Women – “Women's World 2002” — in Kampala, Uganda, in July. Her paper, “Teaching American Women's Studies in a Brand New Setting,” discussed her experience in 2000-2001 teaching in Japanese universities about U.S. women while she was a Fulbright Lecturer in Tokyo.
