Jordan Webb
(Nepean, Ontario) led the Dutchmen
withpoints this weekend, registering two goals and four assists
against the Golden Knights and Saints. Webb now leads the
Dutchmen with 32 points (15-17-32). Webb's 15 goals leads
the Dutchmen, as do his eight power play goals.


Nathan Gillies
(Cambridge,
Ontario) had a career weekend,
taking home three goals and two assists, and was on the ice
for seven of nine Union goals. The two goals vs. St. Lawrence
were Gillies' first vs. the Saints in 10 collegiate games.
Gillies
is third in overall scoring (14-13-27) and second in league
scoring (9-7-16) and leads the Dutchmen with shorthanders
after his 4×5 goal vs. St. Lawrence.


Joel
Beal
(Brantford,
Ontario) became the first Dutchmen
since the 1996-97 season to reach 30 points after his assist
vs.
Clarkson brought his season total to six goals and 24 assists.
Beal also captured the gamewinner with under a minute left
in overtime vs. the Saints on Saturday, his first gamewinner
of
the season. Beal is second in scoring overall with 31
points.


Kris Goodjohn
(Calgary,
Alberta) also had a big weekend,
taking home two goals, including the gamewinner, and an
assist vs. Clarkson. This was the third time this season that
Goodjohn had a three-point game and it was his eighth
multiple-
point game overall. Goodjohn leads the Dutchmen with
gamewinners (3).


Jason
Kean
(Nanaimo,
British Columbia) had two assists last
weekend, his first points in six games for the defenseman.
Kean is second among all defensemen in scoring with ten
points and leads Union defensemen with goals
(2).


Randy Dagenais
(Val Rita, Ontario) took home his 14
th
assist
on Saturday to raise his season scoring total to 15 points,
which
leads all Union defensemen. Dagenais also leads the Dutchmen
with a +11 rating.


Chris DiStefano
(Albany, New
York) came through with two
assists vs. St. Lawrence, his first two-point game since
October
26 vs. Bemidji State. DiStefano (1-8-9) has more than
doubled his output from his rookie season
(1-3-4).


Kris Mayotte (Finleyville, Pennsylvania) extended his careerbest win
streak after his fourth and fifth consecutive wins last weekend. In the last
five games, Mayotte has made 130 saves on 139 shots (.935 sv%, 1.77 GAA).
Mayotte is 10-5-2 overall and 7-3-1 in conference, while being ranked sixth in
the ECAC among goaltending leaders. He is the only freshman on that list.


Union's special teams played a big role in this weekend's sweep, with two
goals coming on the power play against the league's highest ranked penalty
killing unit (ranked fourth natiaonlly), and one being scored while a man
down.Union's power play ranks fourth in the ECAC (21.2%) while the penalty kill
is third (85.1%). Nathan Gillies is first among ECAC players with three
shorthanders, while Jordan Webb sets the pace in the ECAC with six power play
goals.
