Tomas Dvorak, assistant professor of
economics, organized and presided over a session on “Information Asymmetries in
International Capital Markets” at the annual conference of the American
Economic Association in Washington.
He also presented a paper, “Do Domestic Investors Have an Information
Advantage? Evidence from Indonesia.”
Last summer, he was a discussant at the
National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Summer Institute in Cambridge, Mass. Also, his paper, “Gross Capital Flows
and Asymmetric Information,” is to be published in the December 2003 issue of
the Journal of International Money and
Finance.
