Want to tell someone about a Union story?
Check out the new “Email a Story” feature, available for any online Union News story.
According to Web site director Tom Smith, the feature, which has quietly been available for the last couple of weeks, “is already seeing a lot of use.”
The feature allows someone browsing an online Union College Magazine story, for example, to send an email message to someone directly through the website. What the recipient receives is the original message, followed by the beginning of the story and a link to the full version.
Web programmer Erik España, who was involved in its development notes: “Union's news speaks to such a diverse audience that giving our visitors the convenience of an 'email a friend' tool seemed only logical.”
