Elliott Seguin

Sophomore Elliot Seguin (E.Lansing, MI/Cranbrook-Kingswood) earned a pair of All-American honors during the NCAA Swimming and Diving Champions as he finished third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.03 seconds and was fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 45.7l. Seguin also earned an individual honorable mention All-American award as he finished 12th in the 200 free with a time of 1:41.76.

Senior Ridgley Harrison (Hackettstown, NJ/Morristown) captured honorable mention All-American by finishing ninth in the 50 free (21.12) and 11th in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:41.74.

Seguin and Harrison, along with freshmen DJ Hogenkamp (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) and
Matt Acciani Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) finished ninth in the 200 Free Relay (1:24.56), 13th in the 800 Free Relay (3:48.88) and 10th in the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:06.45) to earn honorable mention All-American honors in each event.

This marks the second consecutive year that the Dutchmen have improved their position in the NCAA meet. In 2000-01, Union finished 38th by scoring 16 points. The 2001-02 campaign saw first-year head coach Scott Felix guide his team to the 21st position as his Dutchmen scored 45.6 points by capturing six honorable mention awards. Sequin's two All-American trophies are the first under Coach Felix's two-year tenure.
