Robert Hislope, assistant professor of political
science, presented a paper on interethnic coalitions at a workshop at Brown
University on May 6. The workshop
theme was “The Clandestine Political Economy of War in the Balkans.” In
addition, Hislope's work on corruption in Macedonia
was recently used by Macedonia's
public prosecutor in his testimony to the War Crimes Tribunal in the
Hague.
