Center Auditorium.

Prof. Daniel Mosquera will lead
the discussion.

The film is the next is this
year's series, “12 Windows: Encountering Culture Through Film.”

The next film in the series is Buena Vista Social Club (Prof. Tim
Olsen) Wim Wender's music-filled documentary about aging
Cuban greats on Thursday, March 4, at 7 p.m.

The 12 Windows series, organized
by the Hobart and William
Smith and Union College's
Partnership for Global Education, asks faculty and staff to present films that
serve as “windows” into cultures seldom represented in mainstream media
or entertainment. The goal is to present a wide survey of a varied human
geography. For more information and links to film reviews, please see the PGE
web page at http://academic.hws.edu/pge/12windows.html.
