Stephanie Mole'

Senior soccer midfielder, Stephanie Molé,
completed her outstanding career by being awarded the Robert M. Ridings
Award
. The award is presented to the senior female athlete for her
attitude, ability, participation, and achievement in intercollegiate sports
.

Molé, an economics major from Newton, Massachusetts, was a member of the
Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association's All-Conference, First-Team after
helping the Dutchwomen capture the UCAA's regular-season and postseason
tournament title. Union, which posted an overall record of 19-2-1 in 2003, qualified for the NCAA National Championship
Tournament for the fifth consecutive year. A three-year starter and four-year
letterwinner for the Dutchwomen, Molé has also been a member of the UCAA's
All-Academic team the last three years (freshmen are not eligible) by
maintaining at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average.

A third-team All-American this year and a member of the All-Region first-team,
Moléhelped the Dutchwomen compile a four-year record of 61-12-4. A converted
forward, Molé was a first-team all-conference selection after she led the
Dutchwomen in scoring during her sophomore season with 13 goals and 31 points.

Last year Molé earned the Eastern
Collegiate Athletic Conference Medal of Merit as Union's “Outstanding Junior
Female Athlete of the Year.” The medal is presented to the junior female
athlete who has combined excellence on the fields of competition with
excellence in the classroom or outstanding service to the college.
