Rudy Nydegger, professor of psychology, gave an address, “Psychological Aspects of Serious Illness in
Children,” recently at the annual convention of the New York State United
Teachers Health Care Council. He presented a paper on “The Role of the Psychologist in an Acute
Care Hospital Setting” at the annual convention of the New York State
Psychological Association. He also gave a talk, “Grief and Bereavement Issues
in Children and Adolescents,” that was the Dr. Allan Geis
Memorial Lecture at Pediatric Grand Rounds and Albany Medical College.
