Anthony Marotti

     When sophomore quarterback Anthony
Marotti completed his 22nd pass of the afternoon last week against the
University of Rochester, he put his name in the Union record book.  The 27-yard completion to Mandon Lovett
resulted in Marotti's fifth touchdown pass of the game. 

     Tom Hitchcock,
Class of '66, first set the standard against Hamilton on November 13, 1965 when
he threw four touchdown passes against the Continentals. Including Hitchcock,
the record had had been duplicated nine times by six quarterbacks.  Here is the list:

     Marotti's
efforts earned him the Liberty League's co-“Offensive Player of the Week”, the
Dutchmen's first league recognition this season.
