Junior punter Sean Losier earned the Liberty League's
“Special Teams Player of the Week” award for his performance in the Dutchmen's
28-7 league conference victory over the United States Merchant Academy on
October 2.
Losier, a native of
Waltham, Massachusetts, and a graduate of Waltham High School, averaged
40.7 yards on six kicks, three of which were downed inside inside the Mariners'
20-yard line. His 66-yard boot, which
was downed on the one, set up a safety that gave the Dutchmen a 2-0 lead. Nine of Sean's 26 punts have landed inside
the oppositions' 20-yard line. He is
averaging 36.3 yards a kick.
