First-time voters at Union are getting a public nod from the philosophy
department, thanks to a web page organized by Prof. Lisa Warenski.

“If you have voted before, but not
in a presidential election, you are eligible for the Roll of Honor,” she said
in an email to campus. “We would also like to extend the Roll of Honor to any
faculty and staff who are new citizens and voting for the first time.”

Besides the website, the names of
first-time voters will appear in Concordiensis,
the student newspaper, she said.

Those who submit their name by
Friday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m. will be listed.
