Union College's Philosophy Department is hosting Michael P. Fleischer, former
director of the Office of Private Sector Development for the Coalition
Provisional Authority (in Iraq), who will moderate a discussion on “Ethical
issues in the U.S. policy toward Iraq” on Wednesday, Jan. 26 from 7-9 p.m. at
Green House in South College. This event is part of the department's
“Philosophical Café” series.

Fleisher is a New Jersey businessman who was appointed by the Bush
administration to promote economic privatization in Iraq. He is the
brother of former presidential press secretary Ari Fleisher. Michael Fleisher,
who is traveling to Union College from New York City, will be available for
press interviews either before or after the discussion.
