Two teams – women's lacrosse and softball – will put their incredible records to the test in NCAA tournament play.


Softball (30-4) is ranked #8 in the latest NFCA poll and the top seed for the NCAA Division III Softball Championship regionals in Ithaca. The Dutchwomen will face either Ithaca or Misericordia Friday, May 13, at 2 p.m. The regionals will continue through Sunday, May 15, with a rain date on Monday, May 16.


Women's lacrosse (13-3) and ranked #16 in the IWLCA poll, will face #5 Colorado College (10-1) in the regionals of the 2005 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship. The game will be played Saturday, May 14, at 2:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. Eastern) in Colorado Springs. In the other regional game, Cortland (17-1) will face Cabrini (12-6) at 11:30 a.m. local time. The title game is set for Sunday, May 15, at 1 p.m. (3 p.m. Eastern).
