Union College senior outfielder Adam Chadwick (Hampton, NH/Winnacunnet) was named to the 2005 Liberty League Baseball First Team. Chadwick played in 31 games for the Duchmen, and led the team with a .359 average. He also had team highs with 30 runs, 42 hits, seven doubles and 55 total bases. Chadwick stole four bases and made just two errors on the season.
The centerfielder started out the season in Florida with a hot bat. He hit safely in his first five games, with seven hits in that span. He also ended the season with a flourish, batting . 418 in the final six games. Chadwick had 13 hits in those six games, including four against Hartwick in the first game of a twinbill. He also drove in three runs in the nightcap against Hartwick. Chadwick also had four hits vs. league rival Rensselaer, and had 11 multi-hit games for the spring. The senior hit safely in 24 of the 31 games for the year.
