Mary Parlett-Sweeney, associate director of academic computing, was one of 45 participants from colleges and universities across the country chosen to attend the prestigious Frye Leadership Institute at Emory University in June. Co-sponsored by the Council on Library and Information Resources, EDUCAUSE and Emory, the institute is designed to “develop creative leaders to guide and transform academic information services for higher education in the 21st century.” Nominated by the late Dean of Faculty Christie Sorum, Parlett-Sweeney joined other information technology leaders, librarians and faculty at the intensive two-week program.
