Three Class of 2006 students from the Department of Physics and Astronomy presented posters at the Joint Meeting of the Nuclear Physics Divisions of the American and Japanese Physical Societies in Maui, Hawaii, in the fall.

Justin King presented a poster titled “Development of a Mossbauer Spectrometer.” Fatima Mahmood's poster was “Comparison between Simulations and Data for Neutral Meson Photoproduction on the Proton.” Nicole Sabbatino presented “Mathematically Modeling Accretion Discs Around Black Holes.”

King and Mahmood work with Frank and Marie Louise Bailey Prrofessor of Physics Michael Vineyard. Sabbatino works with Associate Professor of Physics Rebecca Surman. The faculty members accompanied their students to the meeting.
