Minerva Seal

Coffee, the New York Times, the comfort of a Minerva setting… does it get any better? Beginning this month, copies of the noted newspaper will be available in all seven Minerva Houses weekdays. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to stop, sip and savor the morning's news.

The effort is sponsored by the New York Times Campus Readership program at the invitation of the Minerva Council. “This is an experiment to encourage reading a serious newspaper on the part of students and other house members and to attract more students and faculty to use the Minervas during the daytime,” said Political Science Professor Byron Nichols, Minerva faculty rep for Orange House.
