The Kenney Community Center and the Sociology Club are sponsoring a food drive through Monday, May 29. All items will go to Bethesda House of Schenectady, a hospitality house and safe haven, and the Schenectady Inner City Mission.
Seniors Derek Wayman and Julie Link urge everyone to contribute cereal, soup, crackers, peanut butter, canned foods and snacks. Also needed: shampoo, soaps, dental supplies, deodorant, hair brushes, moisturizers, disposable razors and shaving cream, tissues and other personal care items.
Look for the bright blue boxes labeled “Spring Food Drive” at West Dining, the lobbies of Fox Hall and Sorum, Wold, Golub, Beuth and Orange houses, the Bookstore, Kenny Center, Potter House, Delta Delta Delta and College Park Hall. Or swipe an item at the convenience store in Reamer Campus Center using your declining balance.
