On Friday, Nov. 10, more than 400 prospective students and their families will experience first-hand why Union is considered a “hidden gem” among the nation's colleges and universities.
The second fall Open House by the Office of Admissions unites high school students considering Union College with faculty and students to explore campus life, academics, research and internship opportunities and tips for financing an enriched liberal arts education.
“Nothing helps prospective students assess a college better than a personal visit,” said Vice President for Admissions Dan Lundquist. “And, thanks to our people and facilities, no college 'shows' better than Union. Students, guidance counselors and parents all cite our on-campus programs as the positive scale tipper.”
The first open house last month attracted more than 500 prospective students.
