Holiday magic: Would you like to sponsor a needy adult or child for the holidays? Contact Kathy McCann, director of College Relations Data Systems, at mccannk@union.edu. Gifts should be wrapped, tagged and delivered to the Records Office at 17 S. Lane by Friday, Dec. 15

Imler presented “Fiducial Cuts for the CLAS G3 Data Set” and Shultz presented “Momentum Corrections for Charged Particles Photoproduced on Hydrogen and Helium Targets in CLAS.”

Their classmate, Richard Bonventre, who is on a term abroad in Japan, was included in the author list for each poster.

The abstracts were published in the Bulletin of the American Physical Society Vol. 51 No. 6 (2006).

Imler received lodging and travel support from the competitive Conference Experience for Undergraduates (CEU) program of the APS, and Shultz received lodging funds from CEU and travel support from Union's IEF program.

All three students performed research at Union during the summers of 2005 and 2006. In 2005, all were funded through Vineyard's Department of Energy (DOE) grant.
