Daniel O. Mosquera, associate professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies, attended the 2006 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Ethnohistory in Williamsburg, Va. He read a paper titled “Passional Cultures and the 1768-1770 Inquisitorial case of Chalco-Amecameca” as part of “Enacting and Inscribing Nahua-Spanish Encounters,” a symposium focusing on colonial indigenous Mexican and Spanish cultural crossroads.
