Palmer Fargnoli
“Now it’s our turn,” says Palmer Fargnoli ’93.
“For me, it was my dad, Palmer (’67G), who instilled in me a love for this wonderful place. When it was time to look at colleges, he never pressured me to go to Union. But I always remembered the way he talked about it when I was growing up, and the pride he had in bringing me to campus for visits to the bookstore, to check out a football game, or simply to walk around and grab some food at the Rathskeller.”
This fall, after two years as Assistant Director of Annual Giving, Palmer (’93) joins Union’s Admissions Office as Director of the Alumni Admissions Program. This is a newly created position in which he will focus on cultivating alumni who can assist with recruitment efforts or who have interest in prospective legacy students.
Palmer tells us, “The most rewarding part about working at Union is reconnecting fellow alumni with the College and encouraging them to be engaged, especially since their involvement can lead to more widespread awareness of our alma mater.”
