The City of Schenectady is inviting members of the Union community to explore downtown Saturday, Sept. 8 from noon to 5 p.m.
The annual "Welcome Back Day" features festivals, entertainment, food, art and discounts from participating shops and restaurants on Jay Street with your Union ID card.
Sponsored by Union College, the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation and the Chamber of Schenectady County, this year’s highlights include the “Stockade Villager’s Art Show” as well as the Greek and Little Italy Festivals.
Free trolley service will be provided to downtown from the Union College circle at Old Chapel and College Park Hall.
