Cybil Tribie ’10 was just one of many members of the Union community who put her greenest foot forward Wednesday. In celebration of Earth Day, she led a cleanup effort at a park located at Park Place and South Avenue.
Other students spruced up Hans Groot Creek or manned educational tables highlighting the Union Environmental Club, Octopus’ Garden and U Sustain. Passersby learned about a variety of earth-friendly topics, from Union’s own sustainability initiatives to greener living in general.
