Summer Housing

Summer Housing

On-campus summer housing will typically be available in CPH, but the exact location will depend on availability. Specific housing assignments will not be made until sometime in the spring term, and more information will be available at that time. Some meals will be available on campus (for a fee) and students will generally have access to several kitchens in Minerva houses.

All belongings must be removed from a student’s campus housing by the Monday following commencement.  Students beginning summer research immediately after commencement may be able to move directly into their summer housing assignment.  If, however, the summer research begins later, students will need to bring their belongings home with them at that time and bring what they need for the summer back when they return.

Students applying for summer housing will indicate on their housing forms which of these weeks they expect to be on campus.  It may be possible for students to arrange campus housing later in August, but the students interested in doing so must make individual arrangements with the Office of Residential Life.  (Mid- to late-August is a “transition time” for the Office of Residential Life, so students staying on campus might have to move from one room to another.)  On-campus housing beyond early August is not guaranteed.
