Exciting and important artwork is being made by Union College alumni artists, and it is a great pleasure to be able to present the work of a select group of them in the exhibition ReView: Five Union Alumni. The show features a small number of artists so that each can be represented by a solid body of recent work.
This exhibition includes a selection of three-dimensional artworks and artifacts from the Union College Permanent Collection.
Alchemy is an exhibition of sculpture, painting and photography that broadly explores form and shape in a variety of ways. The exhibition’s title takes its inspiration from the artists’ magic configuration of the natural world into something new and unique.
Each Year, the Mandeville Gallery presents a selection of rotating exhibitions of contemporary art, science, and history. Included among these is a group exhibition of the work of our graduating visual art students.
This show represents a web of collaboration among a number of departments and scholars at Union, including the Mandeville Gallery, the Union College Permanent Collection, the Visual Arts Department, and the Special Collections of Schaffer Library.
