Minerva Jams Sessions

Group playing music in a circle

June 30- August 25, 2023

Fridays from 12:30-2:30

at the Kelly Adirondack Center

in the Adirondack Room.

This will be a northeast style round-robin session with a mix of old-time, New England, Irish, and Canadian tunes along with traditional and contemporary songs, key changes at the whim of the person who calls the tune. Tunes will be drawn from the first volume of the Portland Collection, the Fiddler’s Fakebook, the New England Fiddler’s Repertoire, the Waltz Book, and, you know, wherever else we found ’em.

The Minerva Jams includes present and emeritus faculty and students.
