In this talk, landscape photographer Manuel Palacios will take us on a journey through his techniques and approaches to winter photography. Manuel will cover the necessary equipment needed when shooting in cold temperatures and extreme weather, but more importantly, he will discuss how to use the elements of winter to tell a compelling story in a photograph. Simple and complex, the winter landscape is full of tones and textures that, beyond the technical challenges, provide endless opportunities for artists to capture its beauty.
