GET CERTIFIED TO MAKE FILES FOR THE CNC
It is now possible for students and faculty to get certified to create their own CNC files. This is important if you intend to use the machine often and will allow you a more streamlined experience with less waiting, less coordination and MORE learning moments. See what it takes to control the machine rather than just submitting cut jobs. There is a 2 part certification. Part 1 is to read the CNC basics to get an understanding of the machine and the capabilities. Part 2 is the completion of a software tutorial where you will learn how to make files for the machine. Once you make the files you can submit them to be cut and you will be placed on the certified list.
