Interrupted Life: Incarcerated Mothers in the United States is an exhibition of eight linked installations which deal with the facts and experiences of incarceration for mothers and their families in the United States. Interrupted Life invites viewers to become educated, active community members, searching for information and solutions to this major and growing problem in our society.

More than 20,000 calls for entry were sent to high schools and colleges across the country, inviting submissions that illustrated the theme “Green Light.”

The 10th annual High School Regional features artwork in all mediums submitted by the region’s most talented High School art students. The jurors chose over 130 works from fourteen participating schools. Five Juror’s Choice prizes, the Lourie Tansky 3D award, and seven Honorable Mentions were awarded by the jurors.
