Are you plein air curious? Join artists from our current art exhibit and other Capital Region plein air artists for a brown bag lunch (bring your own lunch and we’ll provide beverages and dessert) to discuss practical aspects of painting outside.

Artists will answer your questions about choosing a location, differences between plein air and studio work, finding a set up that works for you, and their thoughts on how a plein air practice enriches their lives and art. The artists will have their painting gear set up throughout the space so you can see how they work.

Participating artists include Barbara Danowski and Shelby Harrison from the current Kelly Adirondack Center exhibit and local plein air artists Matt Chinian (mattchinian.com), Carolyn DiFiori Hopkins (carolyndifiorihopkins.com, facebook.com/share/19ksmeJtcT/?mibextid=wwXIfr), and Ottavia Huang (on Facebook and Instagram as Ms. Otter Studio, @ms.otter.studio).
