I never really thought about this. I think that paper straws could be a huge help. I have seen metal or glass straws but those don’t seem possible at union. I think that reamer and Skellar should be the first to adopt this ideology. I hope your project gets the funding.
I really like this video! It gave a lot of great facts about the use of plastic and I totally agree that Reamer and Skellar should opt for more sustainable straws on campus.
Really like the video and the visuals you used for the presentation. There is currently alot of increased awareness on the issue of plastic straws. Some cities (such as San Francisco) and states are starting to consider an outright ban on them, which could be incredibly helpful for the cause of sustainability.
