This is a great idea. I agree with you that we should expand our gardens to then help improve our dining services. I think this would be difficult to maintain, but as you said if we have the right funds this could be a really great idea.
Great idea! I totally agree that we should expand our gardens and build green houses so that all dining locations can use fresh produce year round and so that we can reduce our carbon footprint as overall.
Union is a already a very green campus, but there is always room for more plants and sustainable growing. Using vegetables that are grown on campus would help in many ways, we just need to figure out a way to effectively distribute enough produce to meet student needs.
