Switching our AC units to auto instead of constantly being at full power is a great and sustainable idea. I could only imagine the actual amount of energy and money wasted in our residence halls alone. It would be interesting to investigate what those numbers would be alongside other buildings on campus as well.
Leaving AC units on all the time is one of Union’s least efficient habits. By simply pressing a button we could save a ton of money and reduce our carbon footprint. Good job including math calculations.
I really enjoyed your video! I think many people are unaware of how much they can save by simply switching their AC unit settings. Turning the AC on Auto, or even up a few degrees, can really make a difference, and you did a great job highlighting that.
