If you have a website, you may not want comments or discussion.
But if your website incorporates a blog, then you’ll want to allow comments and/or discussion.
Once you’ve decided what makes sense for your site, use your Discussion Settings to allow or prevent comments.
To prevent any comments or discussion:
Dashboard | Settings | Discussion
Click to uncheck all three of the Default article setting at the top of the list.
- Attempt to notify any blogs linked from the article
- Allow the link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)
- Allow people to post comments on new articles
Scroll to the bottom and Save
